Got a contest coming up soon in Weston-Super-Mare. Rehearsals all the time again. I'm starting to get bored with rehearsals every other night.

The band has a concert in The Hub at Verwood tonight. Better start getting ready soon. Polish shoes, have a shave that sort of thing.

 

Hopefully I'll be awake enough not to make any stupid mistakes tonight.

It seems that I've already walked over more Devil's Bridges than I remembered at first. There's not that many left to collect. Could have the job done in a year or so... Now where did I put that tent.

I just wandered how many people have visited The Devil's Bridge when on holiday. The only reason for asking is that I have visited at least two that I can remember: one in Wales and one in Greece. Maybe that's an idea for a mission. Collect Devil's Bridges - a bit more relaxing than Munro bagging. If you were thinking about a travel mission what would you choose?

Saw a strange looking fuit in Waitrose today. It was called Dragon Fruit and grown in Vietnam.

 

Having done a bit of research it turns out to be the fruit of a cactus. The outside is a bright pinky red colour and the inside is white flesh with black speckly seeds. I'm not really sure what it tastes of - some fruit would perhaps be the best desription. It's cool and fruity a bit like the flavour of a lychee but with a texture closer to that of melon. Interesting colour and shape, quite a novelty, but I wouldn't buy another one. The red bit is obviously not supposed to be eaten - it's a bit leathery and has no taste.

Been editing audio files for the next podcast today. It's so funny that I have trouble concentrating on the job.
