I've recently discovered that I am scared of prawns. I'm not allergic to them, and I like the taste, but I am scared of them. It must be something to do with those funny shaped legs, the big black eyes and that pinky blue colour. Shrimps aren't a problem and langustines are ok too.
Tiger prawns are the most frightening. I break out in a cold sweat every time I go near a Chinese take away and those sandwich counters in garages are a nightmare. You wouldn't believe how traumatic the process of buying petrol becomes when you are prawnophobic.
